My research focuses on popular visual culture, particularly how audiovisual works produce structures of feeling. Critically, I am influenced primarily influenced by affect theory, process philosophy, and critical aesthetics. I’m currently engaged in two book projects — one on the cinematic weird and the other on post-cinema and neoliberal temporalities.
I teach courses in visual culture, media analysis, media theory, and contemporary film and television. If anyone needs a course on process philosophy, I’d be happy to teach it.
