Aalborg City is buzzing during the last weeks of May. Northern Europe’s largest carnival takes place on Saturday May 28, while the week prior, May 21, the city turns into a children-friendly mecca during the family-oriented version of the carnival. Enjoy the architectural wonder of the newly renovated waterfront, grab a drink at the infamous Jomfru Ane Gade or delve into a historic guided tours – also available on bike and covers topics such as famous local myths and mysteries to a history of the time during the German occupation. Aalborg offers entertainment suitable for children, adults and historians! It will be a scenic and vibrant city during the time of NEHC2022. The conference is placed over Christ’s Ascension (May 26th in 2022) which opens up for an extended weekend in Aalborg.
Practical Information will be updated. We are currently gathering offers from hotels at multiple price ranges and creating an overview over transportation options.

We will arrange for an optional historical and social activity announced upon registration opening on July 1st 2021.
