WORKING TOGETHER INTENSELY, INTERESTINGLY AND INTERNATIONALLY
The project members of the project "Education Access Under the Reign of Testing and Inclusion" began a three-day workshop on Wednesday February 5th and concluded their efforts with a lecture and reception by Thomas Popkewitz.
The different team members gave presentations on the histories of the included countries' education systems with a focus on testing and inclusion. Inclusion reforms were a trend in all countries, although national perceptions of who should be mainstreamed and how inclusion was understood differed considerably. The workshop led to lively debates and discussions regarding methodology, how to conceptualize 'testing' and 'inclusion' across national (and linguistic) borders and to what extent the different national agencies should be incooperated.
We thank all participants for an intriguing and collaborative workshop!
