iv international perspectives on education policy (ipep) summer school
This year the summer school is hosted by Aalborg University and is arranged so participants obtain a strong emphasis on learning policy ethnographic field work in practice. The summer school takes place over 6 days (Sunday through Friday) which allow participants to delve into topics such as ethnography, theoretical approaches, digital governance, lifelong learning and document and discourse analysis. With participants from different countries, the course is tailored towards the specific national policies of the countries of participants' projects.
The main policy focus is on higher and adult education, although everyone working with education policy will find the course relevant. This is a great opportunity to (in real life!) engage with an international community of scholars and enable early career researchers to work practice-based with ethnographic policy fieldwork.
As the summer school takes place in Aalborg, there will be plenty of opportunities for experiencing the wonderful vibrat youthful city. Learn more about the exciting summer school and sign up here!
